Awake and Alive

I woke, sat straight up, and rose from my bed in one motion this morning, an unusual occurrence for me. I suspect it had to do with my dream. In it, I found out why a certain male I am interested in has found no interest in me. I am either too distant or too friendly with him. He says that he finds me attractive, but another girl holds more interest because she is interested without being TOO interested. She withholds some things so that he has to seek her out. I lay everything in the open for all to see. Except for my interest in him. I cannot show interest in a guy without being assured of his interest first.
